Reignings' Remarks
It is a great pleasure to be representing the London Court in Reign 2 as the Regent Emperor. After being absent from the International Court System until last year, I have been busy getting myself out on the Diamond and meeting all the Courtiers, both old and new. I have been able to reconnect with those who have held respect for the contributions I had made in the past. These people continue to give me the validation that Reign 2 will thrive and be successful.

This year I have the privilege to be reigning with the remarkable Empress II Madison Hart. We began our reign as complete strangers, but our thoughts and ideas have been in sync and we have worked together well on so many levels with no conflict. We have a mutual respect for each other and what attributes the other brings to the Reign. Our game plan while on the circuit is that if we cannot be at all events together, we shall divide and conquer and represent at as many events as possible. Our priority always has to remain to our own community, to fulfil our mandate to represent the London Court at local events, and also to raise funds for our own chosen charities and other specific charities as needed.

I am grateful to have the Upper House that I do. My ICP Spencer Roberts is always there with advice ... and criticism ... whether I want it or not. I listen to everything Spencer has to say with consideration because he has been in the Court all these years that I haven’t. My IPR Diesel is a Drag King extraordinaire. Diesel puts so much effort into his acts, creating the character of those performances. Every instinct told me that his gifts would be of genuine sincerity, so I had to have him on our team. I was unable to name an Heir Apparent, being a Regent, but I have to mention the support and representation that I have with Grand Duke 11 & 15 Dante Lionheart-Davidson.

My chosen charity for Reign 2 is Camp Wendake. Camp Wendake is a camp for people living with HIV/AIDS and their care-givers, loved ones, and traditional/non-traditional families. The camp is situated on the beautiful shores of Lake Huron near Bayfield, Ontario. It is a non-profit camp, sponsored by the AIDS Committee of the Diocese of Huron. It is staffed almost exclusively by volunteers and relies on generous donations. People gather because of a common affliction, but find freedom from focusing upon the disease for a brief time ... and find an opportunity to celebrate life. The camping experience occurs in a community where HIV/AIDS is the “norm”. And so it may include open discussions where people choose to share personal information regarding lifestyle, HIV/AIDS status, or other private details.

London is very blessed to have a membership that is passionate about being visible in its community, and is dedicated to the ongoing fundraisers. Several members are crossovers and are strong advocates in other community organizations and groups in our realm. Madison and I have an Executive Committee that believes in and supports all our endeavours and a College of Monarchs that is present and involved. We have great partners in Brennan’s Beer Bistro and Central Spa as facilitators of many of our meetings and events.

As Regent Emperor, it is my hope that I will represent the London Court well, and that I am able to support all our neighbouring Courts in the Diamond, and create or renew relationships with surrounding Courts. At the end of the day, I want to invite one and all to join Madison and myself and our membership, at Coronation 2012: CIRCUS UNLEASHED, on Saturday August 25th, 2012.

It is such an honour to have been elected by the community to represent the Court of London for reign 2. I am looking forward to what this year brings and what I can bring not only to London but to the International Court System as a whole. As Empress I hope to do both myself and our community proud.

I have had the opportunity to get to know Regent Emperor Stan Mackenzie-Storm and am excited for all the plans we have in store for the coming year. Being a young Empress I will look not only to my college for advice but to Stan being a past reigning monarch himself. With Regent Emperor Stans tenacity and my determination it will be a year of accomplishments and success.

My Imperial Crown Princess this year is the one and only Miss Bianca Eyece. ICP Bianca is not only an avid performer but a fierce fundraiser for any charity she has worked for. With her help we will and can reach all goals set out this year. I have chosen to have two Imperial Princess Royales this year. One in town IPR Jacque-lean Dickson and one out of town IPR Jasmine Flowers. Both IPR Jacque-lean and IPR Jasmine are dedicated to London and our community. Each bringing an original flare that will make reign 2 the best it can be.

My chosen charity for the year is the Pride Library at Western University here in London, Ontario. The establishment of the library in 1997 as an official UWO research site was the first of its kind at a Canadian university. I believe it is important for any community to remember where they have come from and this is why I feel so strongly about raising monies for the Pride Library this year.

As Empress I will uphold all morals and values that is becoming of an Empress. Making the community proud and showing the world who and what we are all about. I look forward to working with all the Diamond courts maintaining all the friendships that have been made before me and making my own.
